A Prayer For Widows | In Jesus' Name With Bible Scripture
Dear Heavenly Father,
.
We come before you today with hearts full of compassion for the widows among us. We ask for your comfort, strength, and provision to be upon them in their time of need. Your word reminds us of your care for the widows, and we hold onto these promises as we lift them up in prayer.
Isaiah 54:4 – “Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.”
Psalm 146:9 – “The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.”
Deuteronomy 10:18 – “He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.”
We ask that you provide for their needs, surround them with your love, and bring them the support and community they require during this difficult time. May they find peace and hope in you, knowing that you are their ultimate comforter and provider.
