Picnic Perfect Cheesecake Recipe

Picnic Perfect Cheesecake Recipe

Today, we’re going to make a super yummy cheesecake that’s perfect for a picnic! It’s creamy, sweet, and oh-so-delicious. Let’s get started!

Ingredients:

- 1 cup of crushed graham crackers (these are like little crunchy cookies!)

- 1/4 cup of melted butter (this helps hold our crust together)

- 2 cups of cream cheese (this is the main part of our cheesecake)

- 1 cup of sugar (this makes it sweet and tasty)

- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (this adds a yummy flavor)

- 2 eggs (these help make our cheesecake nice and fluffy)

- 1 cup of fresh fruit (like strawberries or blueberries for topping)

Instructions:

1. Make the Crust:

In a big bowl, mix the crushed graham crackers and melted butter together. It should look like wet sand! Now, press this mixture into the bottom of a round cake pan. This will be our crust!

2. Mix the Filling:

In another bowl, put the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Use a mixer (or a whisk if you’re strong!) to mix it all together until it’s smooth and creamy.

3. Add the Eggs:

Crack the eggs into the mixture one at a time, mixing well after each one. This will make our cheesecake fluffy!

4. Pour and Bake:

Pour the creamy mixture over the crust in the cake pan. Now, ask an adult to help you put it in the oven at 325°F (160°C) for about 50 minutes. It should be set but still a little jiggly in the middle.

5. Cool Down:

Once it’s done baking, let it cool down for a bit, then put it in the fridge for at least 4 hours (or overnight if you can wait!). This makes it nice and cold.

6. Top with Fruit:

When you’re ready to eat, take it out of the fridge and top it with your favorite fresh fruit. Yum!

Serving Size:

This recipe makes about 8 slices of cheesecake.
