Decadent Mocha Cheesecake Recipe

Decadent Mocha Cheesecake Recipe

Today, we are going to make a super yummy Decadent Mocha Cheesecake. It’s like a chocolatey dream that you can eat! Let’s get started!

Ingredients:

- 1 ½ cups of crushed chocolate cookies (like Oreos)

- ½ cup of melted butter

- 2 cups of cream cheese (softened)

- 1 cup of sugar

- 1 cup of sour cream

- 3 eggs

- ½ cup of cocoa powder (for chocolatey goodness)

- 1 tablespoon of instant coffee (to make it mocha)

- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. Make the Crust:

First, we need to make the crust! In a big bowl, mix the crushed chocolate cookies with the melted butter. It should look like wet sand. Now, press this mixture into the bottom of a round cake pan. This will be our yummy base!

2. Mix the Cheesecake Filling:

In another bowl, put the softened cream cheese and sugar. Use a mixer (or a whisk if you’re strong!) to mix them until it’s smooth and creamy. Then, add the sour cream, eggs, cocoa powder, instant coffee, and vanilla extract. Mix it all together until it’s super smooth and delicious!

3. Pour and Bake:

Now, pour the cheesecake filling over the crust in the cake pan. Make sure it’s even! Then, ask a grown-up to help you put it in the oven at 325°F (160°C) for about 50-60 minutes. It’s going to smell amazing!

4. Cool Down:

After baking, let it cool down for a bit, then put it in the fridge for at least 4 hours (or overnight if you can wait!). This helps it get nice and firm.

5. Serve and Enjoy:

When it’s ready, slice it up and enjoy your delicious Decadent Mocha Cheesecake! You can even add some whipped cream on top if you want!

Serving Size:

This recipe makes about 12 slices of cheesecake.
